Buck Owens' Crystal Palace is a performance venue for country western music and other music genres. It is also the home of the Buck Owens Museum, which contains items related to his career.
The Bakersfield College Renegades represent Bakersfield College in 20 sports. The college competes in the Western State Conference, which is affiliated with the California Community College Athletic Association.
The Bakersfield College Performing Arts Department proudly presents numerous events throughout the year for our local community, including vocal and instrumental concerts, plays and musicals, and workshops in music and theatre.
The Roadrunners were part of the NCAA Division II program in all sports but wrestling until 2006. Currently the program is transferring to Division I status. CSUB is looking to join the Big West Conference, an all-California conference that includes several former rivals of the Roadrunners. The university has won over 30 national championships and competes in many sports, including men's and women"s basketball, wrestling, soccer, softball, baseball and track and field.
Our club's mission is to be a resource for all veterans that are students of Bakersfield College in order to provide information, service, and a feeling of belonging. We meet in the veterans lounge and our meeting dates are continually changing. Please stop by for the newest schedule.
The Bakersfield Wing Festival has returned for its 4th year! It’s the hottest, spiciest and most flavorful event to hit Kern County. This event will be held at “Kern County Fairgrounds – Budweiser Pavilion ” located at 1142 South P Street on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 3:00PM to 7:00 PM. Thousands in attendance!
